Security Manager - AccorHotels - Sharjah

Job description

Key tasks Behaves and Acts as a manager in an exemplary fashion, embodying the brand mindset, manages the security team, help them improve their skills and providing support for career development. Ensures the safety and security of all guest and talents. Ensures all regulations with regards to safety and security are being met Is responsible for the organization and month meeting of the security committee and ensures the risks for the hotel with regards to guests and talent incidents is kept to a minimum Main Responsibility

  • To undertake full responsibility of the security officers for supervising and to enforce security policies and procedures in accordance with Novotel guidelines and also ensure compliance to all local regulations.

  • To develop and train hotel talents in firefighting, fire evacuation as per local civil defense

  • To investigate, review and follow up of all incidents, loss and accidents reports

  • To strictly adhere to the established operating expenses and ensure that all costs are controlled.

  • To supervise the administration of lost and found with daily audits and exercise gate pass control procedure

  • To protect Hotel assets.

  • To understand and strictly adhere to the Rules & Regulations established during the Induction and the Hotel’s policy on Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.

  • To report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and name tag at all times.

  • To maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.

  • To maintain a good rapport and working relationship with talents and all other departments.

  • To attend and contribute to all talents gathering and Hotel trainings scheduled and other related activities.

  • To fully support the Departmental Trainers function in the Department assigned.

  • To respond to any changes in the function as dictated by the industry, company and hotel.

  • To project at all times a positive and motivated attitude and exercise self control.

  • To provide a courteous and professional service at all times.

  • To attend all meetings as required by Executive Management.

  • To ensure that the hotel’s CCTV system is fully accounted for, properly maintained and reliable.

  • To draw procedures to ensure that any problem encountered in software and hardware are addressed immediately.
