Ensure guards have reported to work and have assigned duties.
Inspect guards’ appearance and make sure uniforms are neat and in sober state
Monitor security guards’ performance during the shift and take corrective action when necessary
Patrol all sites within and outside the factory premises
Ensure the security systems, such as the CCTV, radios …etc. are working properly and reports damages
Implement Access Control procedures and report violations
Ensures incoming/outgoing packages are searched and cleared
Respond to emergencies during the shift and serves as main focal point
Writing reports to security incidents and submitting them to Section Head.
Patrol offices and make sure Clear Desk Policy is implemented
Check that all employee’s/contractors’ lockers are well closed during the shift
Ensure that all security logbooks are up-to date and well used
Organize work schedule, including guards’ rotations, breaks, vacations… etc
Maintain a proper and accurate inventory of all security equipment and its working condition.
Conduct regular briefings prior/after each shift, to confirm the full interpretation of security policies/new instructions and potential threats and lessons learnt.
Qualifications
At least 6 years’ experience in security, preferably with Police or military background
Physical security technology, selection & implementation
Possess good leadership and management skills
Good communication skills
Management of contracted security personnel.
Good knowledge of intelligence collection
Good knowledge of reports writing
